Managing construction documents is one of the most important parts of construction management. When documents are disorganized or outdated, the risk of delays, rework, and claims increases significantly.
During pre-construction, you should track contracts and agreements, bid documents, and permits. Contracts define scope, payment terms, and responsibilities. At project closeout, as-built drawings, warranties, O&M manuals, and final lien waivers must be collected and organized for proper turnover.
