Solution
Barrett Paving and CDP worked together to deploy Oracle’s Primavera P6 Software and a customized training program. Working with CDP and implementing P6, Barrett Paving:
- Designed processes that push the envelope in terms of how P6 is traditionally used.
- Expanded the information typically collected to create schedules, and are able to truly rely on the information output.
- Improved collaboration throughout their vertical value chain with the ability to quickly analyze information from any time period and across disciplines to ensure that each piece of the chain is working with the same relevant, timely, and accurate information.
A key consideration in Barrett Paving’s P6 deployment was customized, in-house training. CDP took a very strategic approach to developing this training, and worked with Barrett Paving to fully understand their business needs and environment.
