Please join us for this dynamic, fast-paced webinar and earn a Professional Development Hour (PDH) after attending. During the webinar, Michael M. Hughes, PE will illustrate how various activity constraints affect Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules.
The most commonly used constraint is “Start on or After” which is often used when a piece of equipment (or construction material or component) required for a task will not be available until a certain date; however, there are six other activity constraints that are commonly available. This webinar will highlight each of them and illustrate the profound effects they can have on the CPM calculated dates for a project.
The learning objectives for the webinar are:
- Learn the seven fundamental CPM activity constraints
- Understand the effect of each constraint type on the forward and backward pass and total float calculations
- Learn how to calculate schedule dates and total float with activity constraints
